Today’s featured work, [Transfigure], was written based on the core theories of the master of contemporary art philosophy, Arthur C. Danto: "The Artworld" and "The Transfiguration of the Commonplace." Danto argued that an object becomes art not because of its outward appearance, but because of the "theoretical context"—the Artworld—that defines it as such. Even an ordinary object is "transfigured" into art the moment it is placed within the context of a museum. This project visualizes a subject who defines herself as a work of art, set against the symbolic backdrop of a museum gallery.
The line "I define the view, Transfigure!" in the lyrics sings of the power of perception—granting meaning rather than being trapped by mere appearances. Furthermore, the declaration "Becoming the frame, a sovereign Figure" demonstrates the dignity of a designer who has become the context that defines the object, rather than being the object itself.
